The compact circuit breaker complies with DIN EN 60947-2 and protects electrical installations and networks from overload and short circuits. The thermal release for overload current (Ir) and the magnetic release for instantaneous short-circuit current (Ii) can be adjusted separately. The neutral conductor protection can be activated via a regulator. It can be set to 0% or 100% of Ir. The position of the knob indicates the three different operating states (ON = top, OFF = bottom, tripped = middle position). A device for locking the switch state in ON or OFF position is integrated and can be used with a standard padlock without additional accessories. A test button allows the release mechanism to be tested and the main contacts to be opened. A hinged cover with a captive quick screw provides access to the installation space for optional auxiliary contacts and other releases. Integrated accessories are visible and identifiable through a viewing window without opening the hinged cover.
