The Gude Expert Sensor Box 7214-12 is a standalone LAN sensor specifically designed for monitoring environmental conditions in IT installations. This device allows for precise measurement of temperature, humidity, and air pressure over TCP/IP networks. With two sensor connections, the box offers the option to connect additional sensors for comprehensive monitoring. The Expert Sensor Box is available with power supply via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) as well as with an external power supply. It features a switchable relay output and a passive signal input, enabling remote control of connected devices. The integration of SNMPv3, SSL, and IPv6 ensures secure and modern network communication. Additionally, users can access the sensors through a free smartphone app and receive notifications via email, Syslog, or SNMP traps when set thresholds are exceeded.
