The DDR4 modules feature black PCBs surrounded by elegant heat spreaders in this version. G.Skill opts for silver-colored coolers on the sides, which are polished to a high gloss. The upper edge is made of acrylic glass with a crystalline structure, highlighted by RGB lighting. The heat spreader is relatively low-profile, with an overall height of 44 millimeters, allowing the Trident Z Royal to fit under many large CPU coolers. Thanks to the heat spreaders, this overall 16 GB dual-channel kit remains cool at all times. As proof of high quality, G.Skill also offers an extremely long manufacturer's warranty period of 10 years.

This performance DDR4 memory operates at a standard speed of 2,133 MHz at 1.2 volts. With the automatically set XMP 2.0 profiles or through manual configuration, these Trident Z Royal modules can achieve optimal performance values of up to 4,600 MHz clock speed at 1.45 volts with tested latencies of CL 18-22-22-42 when combined with a compatible motherboard.
