The pass-through is thin enough (approximately 0.25 mm) to allow the window or door to close properly while being strong enough to withstand many openings. Quick and tool-free installation: open the window or door, place the RJ45 pass-through in between, connect the patch cables on both sides, close the window or door, and you're done! There's no need for cumbersome drilling through the wall. For better stability, the sockets can also be secured with the included screws and two 3M adhesive strips.
