This new and compact power adapter meets the requirements of the new international standards like eco-design, CEC, and MEPS. The goal of these standards is to reduce stand-by loss as well as CO² emissions. It offers energy savings of up to 94% in stand-by mode compared to conventional power adapters and saves up to 30% energy under load. It is produced as per the EuP directive 2005/32/EG (EuP = eco-design of energy-using products).
