The Godox TX3-XLR is a plug-on wireless transmitter compatible with the WMicS1 wireless system. Its lightweight design fits comfortably in the hand and can accommodate any handheld or shotgun microphone in XLR format (sold separately). The transmitter can provide 48V phantom power for condenser microphones and offers reliable transmission with a range of up to 60m in line of sight.

The TX3-XLR operates on two AA batteries and is equipped with an on/off switch that also serves as a mute button. An easy-to-read OLED display with backlighting and adjustable brightness shows the transmitter's frequency, channel/group, input level, mute status, and battery life.
The system offers 96 manually selectable frequencies to create an interference-free transmission channel for wireless transmission to the RX1 receiver (sold separately). The transmitter features two levels of RF transmission power: the high 50mW setting enhances signal quality at greater distances, while the low 20mW setting maximises battery life for close-range work.
