The Gitzo GT5543LS Systematic Series 5 from Gitzo is a strong, professional carbon fibre tripod with 4 leg segments that securely supports particularly long lenses and heavy cameras. The Series 5 models are Gitzo's most torsionally rigid tripods and, like the rest of the Systematic family, set the industry standard in terms of load capacity, stability and modularity. The upper casting of the GT5543LS can be opened and closed so that each tripod can be equipped with a flat support plate, a crank/sliding centre column, a video adapter (half-shell), a levelling base or another Systematic accessory.

The GT5543LS weighs 2.82 kg and ensures an outstanding load capacity of 40 kg. Its height can be adjusted from just 10 cm to 156 cm and measures 60 cm when folded. The highly reliable, versatile, portable tripod features Gitzo's renowned Carbon eXact tubes with G-Lock Ultra twist locks that securely connect the leg segments and protect them from damage caused by dirt.
