Der Test zeigt, dass die Garmin fenix 3 mit den aktuellen Softwareversionen 3.80/2.90 sehr gute Streckenaufzeichnungen liefern kann, die mit denen anderer GPS-Geräte vergleichbar sind. Die Garmin Fenix 3 ist mit 429 Euro nicht billig - die Version mit Saphirglas ist sogar noch 170 Euro teurer. Dafür erhält der Nutzer jedoch eine Outdoor- und Sportuhr mit langer Akkulaufzeit und wegweisendem Konzept.
