In addition to the standard features of the iRMC, the iRMC Advanced Pack offers additional functionalities such as Advanced Video Redirection (AVR) and Remote Storage.

Advanced Video Redirection (AVR)

  • System-independent redirection of graphic and text consoles, including keyboard and mouse
  • Remote access for monitoring the boot process, managing the BIOS, and interacting with the operating system

Remote Storage
Remote Storage provides the managed server with a virtual drive located elsewhere on the network. The virtual drives provided by Remote Storage are as easy to use as local drives and offer the following options:

  • Read/write data
  • Boot from Remote Storage
  • Install drivers or small applications
  • Remote BIOS update (BIOS update via USB)

Remote Storage allows simultaneous connection of up to two virtual drives and supports the following device types:

  • Floppy disk
  • CD-ROM / DVD-ROM
  • USB storage device (e.g., Memory Stick)
  • ISO image

This order number can be used for iRMC S4 and iRMC S5 systems.
