The new standard lens in the XF lens series features a focal length of 35mm (53mm equivalent to full-frame) and offers a field of view similar to that of the human eye. With a maximum aperture of F2, it ensures excellent image quality even in challenging lighting conditions and produces beautiful bokeh.

The FUJINON XF35mmF2 R WR consists of 9 elements in 6 groups (including two aspherical lenses). This optical design achieves a perfect balance of high image quality and compact size. The lens has the smallest diameter of all FUJINON XF and XC lenses. The internal focusing system, which moves the small and lightweight lens elements, allows for quiet, precise, and fast autofocus in combination with a stepping motor. The autofocus speed of just 0.08 seconds is ideal for capturing spontaneous snapshots.

The XF35mmF2 R WR is sealed at 8 points, making the lens both splash-proof and dust-proof. It is also optimized for operation at low temperatures down to minus 10 degrees.

Weighing only 170 grams, the FUJINON XF35mmF2 R WR is very lightweight and, with a length of 45.9 millimeters and a diameter of 60 millimeters, extremely compact. The prime lens is easy to handle and is perfectly suited for portrait, street, or documentary photography.
