The FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber AON comes with an AON SFP module. It offers Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 and 5 GHz and has four built-in 1 Gbit LAN ports for super-fast connections. If the FRITZ!Box 5590 is not needed as a modem, it can also be used in router mode with a cable or fiber modem, benefiting from the outstanding FRITZ!OS.

... The higher performance is also reflected in the fast reactions of the user interface. However, our throughput measurements only showed smaller gains compared to the 5530. The reason: Wi-Fi 6 clients are still limited to 2x2 MIMO. The 5590 can only really turn up the heat when it supplies many end devices at the same time. The power consumption remains within limits.
