Here's how it works: Set up the transmitters on the running track. One at the start line, one at the finish line, and optionally more in between to measure lap times or intermediate times on the track. The transponder is attached to the waistband of the runners. Download the free MyFreelap app on a mobile device. The track transmitters detect the runners' transponder as they pass by. This transmits the time and distance data to your app via Bluetooth.
