Product details

The revolutionary Firecrest ND filters for your lenses.

Features:

  • 5-stop gradation ND filter
  • For exposure reduction in a selective area
  • Smooth gradation and neutral results
  • Scratch-resistant
  • Freely rotating ring (compatible with other screw filters)
  • Schott Superwite glass

Firecrest ND filters are revolutionary ND filters from Formatt-Hitech. Unlike standard resin filters, these filters are extremely neutral and exhibit no color cast. The filters are made from 2 mm Schott Superwite glass. The coating is bonded in the center to ensure even greater scratch resistance. Firecrest filters are neutral across all color spectrums, including UV, visible light, and infrared. These graduated filters guarantee a smooth transition into a clear area. The reduction ranges from 1 to 4 stops.

Formatt's resin filters are ultra-flat, have excellent contrast values, and are completely transparent for the visible light spectrum. The resin material from Formatt has the highest scratch resistance of all non-glass optical materials and is resistant to most solvents, chemicals, as well as aging and material fatigue. Due to their lightweight and portability, resin filters are the logical choice for photographers and cinematographers using the latest cameras and large format sensors.
