Disclaimer: Microsoft recommends not positioning the Xbox One vertically when using the drive, as the console may not read discs in a vertical position. Therefore, we recommend mounting the console in the wall mount for storage when not in use. If you are not using the drive, there is no issue, and you can easily mount it vertically on the wall during operation.
