Product details

This is a complete metal hotend upgrade kit for the Flashforge Finder and Flashforge Guider 2. With an all-metal hotend, you can print at much higher temperatures than is possible with an original hotend that has a PTFE lining. Another advantage of an all-metal hotend design is more consistent melt chamber control. During slow extrusion speeds, the transition zone from solid to molten plastic in the PTFE-lined hotend tends to creep upward, resulting in stringier prints. In an all-metal design, the transition zone is always constant, as it is located directly at the heat break. At high extrusion speeds, the PTFE tube does not have enough thermal conductivity to properly melt all the exiting plastic. The all-metal hotend solves this problem, as the plastic is surrounded by a thermally conductive nozzle along its entire length. Only MK10 all-metal nozzles can be used: 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm.
