Programming your own robots with the fischertechnik Robotics Add-On: Omniwheels. Together with the Robotics Base Set, you can build four exciting Omniwheel models that are ready to come to life. You can create driving robots with various tasks, such as a soccer robot, a shooting robot that detects and shoots at targets, and a drawing robot with a pen that can be lowered and raised. A highlight of this construction set is the Omniwheels, powered by four encoder motors, two of which are included in the Base Set, allowing movement in any direction. The camera included in the Base Set enables image processing, allowing the soccer robot to recognize a ball – and it will shoot off with full force. The new fischertechnik TXT 4.0 Controller offers many new features with the new programming software ROBO Pro Coding. In addition to graphical programming in a Blockly environment, programming via Python is now also possible. The software is operating system independent and can also be used on mobile devices. Additionally, a servo motor is included in the set. The concept is rounded off with seven experiments and their corresponding solutions.
