The relay module with forced-guided contacts from Finder, model 7S.14.9.012.4220, is a highly advanced installation relay designed for safety applications. With a rated voltage of 12 V DC and a maximum switching current of 3 A, it provides reliable performance in critical environments. The module meets the requirements of the standard EN 61810-3, type A, and can achieve a safety integrity level of SIL 2 in applications designed according to IEC/EN 62061. Furthermore, it is suitable for machine and plant engineering and can reach a performance level of PL d when designed according to ISO/EN 13849. The construction includes two normally open contacts and two normally closed contacts made from high-quality contact material, along with an LED status indicator for monitoring the coil control. The relay module is also certified according to EN 45545-2:2013 for fire protection in rail vehicles and offers high robustness against mechanical stress and temperature variations.
