PETG is an easy-to-print yet strong and odorless filament that is characterized by high clarity. These properties, along with high impact resistance, high flexibility, and extremely low shrinkage behavior, make PETG from 3D-Printerstore.ch an excellent material that combines the advantages of ABS and PLA. PETG is hydrophobic and therefore does not absorb water. PET-G is a polyethylene terephthalate thermoplastic polyester. This is the most commonly used thermoplastic polymer resin in the polyester family and is used in fibers for clothing, containers for liquids and food, thermoforming for manufacturing, and in combination with fiberglass for technical resins. PET-G is an ideal material for producing transparent packaging and other products that require higher strength, impact toughness, and transparency.
