Product details
Spectrum ABS Kevlar is a structural composite filament based on ABS with the addition of aramid fibres, commonly known as Kevlar. The demand for improved properties over standard ABS, including durability and increased tensile strength, led to the combination of the excellent properties of ABS with aramid fibres. The modifications resulted in lower shrinkage, excellent adhesion to working platforms, and lower material density, making the printed elements slightly lighter than their standard ABS counterparts. The excellent dimensional stability enables the 3D printing of objects with precise dimensions, which is especially important for multi-part projects.
