Product details
PoE Extralink EUROS v2 switch
It is a 6-port unmanaged switch with 4 PoE ports, offering a maximum speed of 100 Mbps and supporting IEEE 802.3af/at, with a maximum power per port of up to 30W. The switch also includes 2 RJ45 ports without PoE power options, which can be used as uplink ports or to connect additional devices, such as video recorders in monitoring applications.
Four additional operating modes of the PoE switch
There are four switches on the front of the EUROS v2 switch that allow you to run additional modes to improve network performance or range. Below are the operating principles of each mode:
VLAN mode - When this mode is activated, ports 1-4 are isolated from each other, effectively suppressing broadcast storms and improving network performance.
EXTEND mode - This mode allows ports 1-4 to effectively transmit data and PoE power over distances up to 250 meters, making it ideal for video surveillance systems.
AI QoS mode - In this mode, video data is processed as a priority to ensure a smooth image, primarily used in monitoring solutions.
AI PS mode - The switch automatically detects the operating status of the connected device to one of the PoE ports. If it detects that the device is not functioning properly, it automatically restarts the device.
Power over Ethernet
The EUROS v2 switch supports IEEE 802.3 af/at standards, automatically detecting and identifying PoE devices that comply with these standards and providing power to them. There is no need to worry about devices that do not require power through PoE (not supporting IEEE 802.3 af/at standards) because the switch will not power these devices. The maximum power supply connected to the switch is 60W.
