Product details

The EX-6131PoE serial device server from Exsys is a powerful solution for integrating serial devices into IP-based Ethernet networks. It allows for the connection of one serial RS-232 and one RS-422/485 device, making it ideal for applications such as POS systems, barcode scanners, sensors, measuring devices, weighing systems, CNC controls, and PLCs. The EX-6131PoE supports various network protocols, including TCP server, TCP client, and Modbus RTU, and offers remote configuration for easy handling. A standout feature is the virtual COM port (VCOM), which enables seamless migration of existing applications without the need for software changes. Additionally, the device server supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation as it can be powered through the Ethernet cable. With a 15 kV ESD surge protection for all serial signals, the EX-6131PoE ensures a reliable and secure connection.

  • Supports multiple network protocols for flexible integration
  • Virtual COM port for easy migration of existing software
  • Power over Ethernet for simplified installation
  • 15 kV ESD surge protection for high reliability.
