The EX-6051PoEIS in a metal housing allows you to connect your serial devices to the network (Ethernet) in the simplest way. You are no longer limited by a fixed distance, as you can control any RS-232 peripheral device over the network. The EX-6051PoEIS is equipped with surge protection and optical isolation and supports Power-over-Ethernet. When using a suitable switch, the EX-6051PoEIS can be powered directly via the network cable, eliminating the need for a power supply. You can easily integrate the EX-6051PoEIS into the network with an IP address (UDP, IP, TCP, ICMP, HTTP, DHCP, ARP-Ping). Control is also possible through the included and other Virtual Com Port software. The COM ports will then be registered in the device manager.
