The EX-47960 RS-232 extender can be used with any PC, workstation, or server that has an RS-232 interface. It features a 9-pin socket that connects directly to your serial RS-232 interface and extends RS-232 signals up to a maximum length of 50 meters. A Cat. 5 or 6 network cable is required for transmission between the transmitter and receiver. The EX-47960 operates without a power supply, and the thumb screws can be removed without tools and replaced with the included nuts.

  • Parity: None, Odd, Even, Mark, Space
  • Data Bits: 5, 6, 7, 8
  • Stop Bits: 1, 2
  • RS-232 Pins: RX, TX, GND, RTS, CTS
