The EX-44062 PCI-Express I/O card provides two serial RS-232 High Performance UART 16C1050 outputs. It is designed to expand two additional serial ports for PCs, small workstations, or servers via the PCI Express bus. The card is fully PCI-Express Plug-and-Play compatible and has no issues with IRQ and I/O address conflicts. Additionally, +5V or +12V can be configured on pin 9 of the serial connector for a POS system (Power over System). The EX-44062 comes with two low-profile brackets, allowing the card to be installed in narrow PC cases.

  • Interface: RS-232 V.24 with FIFO Buffer 16C1050 with 256 bytes
  • ±15 kV IEC1000-4-2 ESD protection for RS232 I/Os
  • I/O addresses and interrupts are assigned by the operating system, IRQ sharing
  • PCIe interface compatible with specifications 1.0a to 3.0
  • Data Bits: 5, 6, 7, 8
  • Stop Bits: 1, 1.5, 2
  • Parity: none, even, odd, space, mark
  • Signals: TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, DCD, GND
  • Supports RTS/CTS and XON/XOFF flow control
  • Supports +5V or +12V on pin 9 of the serial connectors
  • Chipset: SystemBase SB16C1052PCI.
