The EX-1333VIS USB 2.0 to serial RS-232/422/485 in a metal housing provides two serial RS-232, 422, or 485 high-performance UART 16C550 combo outputs with overvoltage protection and optical isolation. It is designed to expand two additional serial outputs in a robust metal case for desktop computers or laptops via the USB 2.0 bus. The simple installation means that the computer does not need to be opened, and the EX-1333VIS can be installed while the system is running. The included EX-K1552 cable with A-plug to B-plug can be attached to the EX-1333VIS using thumb screws without the need for a screwdriver, preventing the cable from coming loose on its own. Optionally, the EX-1333VIS can be installed on a DIN rail in a 19-inch rack using the EX-6099 (DIN-Rail Kit). The EX-1333VIS features LED indicators for operational functions and data transmissions.
