The EX-1163HMS-WT provides 4 USB 2.0 downstream ports, each with 15 kV surge protection. This allows for the connection of up to four external USB peripheral devices to a USB 2.0 port from the computer in a 19" rack. It can be used in automation and office applications and meets the specific requirements of industrial applications. It is very compact and robust, supporting temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C.

The USB 2.0 hub with four ports and 15 kV surge protection safeguards connected devices against voltage fluctuations. It supports an extended temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. The power supply ranges from +7 V to +48 V DC via a terminal block. User-friendly installation is facilitated with an integrated DIN rail mount. The compact housing is suitable for industrial use.

Automatic detection of the data transfer rate for connected peripherals is performed by the NEC uPD720112 chipset.
