The EX-1031 has been specifically designed to expand four additional PCI slots (for long cards up to 34 cm) via the PCI-Express (EX-1095) slot. The EX-1031 features a robust metal housing and connects to the motherboard of the desktop PC using a PCIe card. It is possible to control any universal PCI card from PCI Rev 2.1 available in the IT market through the PCIe bus. It is also particularly suitable for DSP (Digital Sound Processor) based audio cards. No additional drivers are required for the EX-1031.
