Printing on plastic cards requires certain minimum standards for printer cleaning, as plastic cards are statically charged and can attract dust into the device. Dust can affect print quality and, in the worst case, lead to malfunctions of the printer. To prevent this, Evolis offers a special cleaning kit with cleaning accessories that allow for the regular cleaning of the three sensitive components in a plastic card printer: moist cotton swabs for cleaning the print head, moist cleaning cards for cleaning the card path, and moist cleaning wipes for cleaning the cleaning roller.
