The Eltako Wireless Repeater FRP70-230V is a 1- and 2-level wireless repeater with a small antenna. The standby loss is only 0.6 watts. If needed, a wireless antenna FA250 or FAG55E can be connected. The dimensions are 100 mm long, 50 mm wide, and 25 mm deep. The supply voltage is 230 V. To connect the 2-wire power supply line, the housing must be opened. For optimal function, a higher installation location should be chosen.

This repeater is only necessary when structural conditions prevent uninterrupted reception or when the distance between the wireless switch and receiver is too great. The antenna FA250 with 250 cm cable or FAG55E with 100 cm cable can be connected instead of the included small antenna, significantly increasing the range when optimally placed.

The factory setting is the 1-level mode. In this mode, only the wireless signals from sensors are received, checked, and retransmitted at full transmission power. Wireless signals from other repeaters are ignored to reduce data volume. The rotary switch allows switching to the 2-level mode, which also processes the wireless signals from another 1-level repeater. A wireless signal can thus be received and amplified a maximum of 2 times. The LED indicates incoming wireless signals with a brief flash. Wireless repeaters do not need to be programmed; they receive and amplify the wireless signals from all wireless sensors within their reception range.
