Electro-Harmonix Nano Pulsar. Variable Shape Stereo Tremolo. The Nano Pulsar is an exceptional tremolo. Despite its power, the Nano Pulsar is simple in design and easy to use. Tremolos often experience a drop in volume when the effect is activated. With this pedal, players can fine-tune the output level while the effect is on, which is a very useful feature. The Depth control of the Nano Pulsar adjusts the intensity of the tremolo effect applied to the signal. When exceeding the maximum (around 1 o'clock), the modulation becomes asymmetrical and distorts the audio signal between positive and negative phases. This creates a unique tremolo style that sounds great on its own or can be combined with other effects to produce compelling synth-like sounds. The Rate control allows you to set the speed of the tremolo or panning effect over a wide range. By fully utilizing the Rate and Depth controls, you can enter the realm of ring modulation and embark on a surreal sound journey.
