The energy measurement sensor with an external sensor is used to capture generated or consumed energy and display it to Roommanager, Homemanager, or transmit it to a third-party solution. This type of device is used for larger power levels ranging from 15 W to 23 kW. It measures current, voltage, active power, and electrical energy. The external sensor of the energy measurement sensor is connected via the live wire, preferably at the feed-in point in the electrical system for PV applications. The device is installed in a switch, junction, or installation box.
