Extends a Gigabit Ethernet signal up to 2,000 m using SC multimode cable. Converts a UTP copper connection over a long distance into a duplex fiber optic connection and back to a copper connection at the other end, automatically detecting the correct speed. Fiber optic technology is more effective than Cat5e/6 over long distances. Supports 50/125 multimode fiber cabling up to 2,000 m and 62.5/125 multimode fiber cabling up to 400 m. An N785-INT-SC is required at both ends for connection.
