The USB 2.0 hub in industrial design adds up to 7 USB devices to your computer. This USB 2.0 hub, featuring a robust all-metal housing, connects up to seven USB devices such as external hard drives, industrial printers, barcode scanners, serial devices, and sensors to your host PC, server, or thin client. The sturdy metal casing withstands harsh physical conditions in industrial and commercial applications such as factories, construction sites, utility rooms, and warehouses. The hub supports USB 2.0 data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices.

It protects your devices from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and overcurrent. Machinery in production areas can generate electrostatic discharges that can erase data and damage sensitive electronics. This hub with seven ports features ESD protection up to ±15 kV, reducing potential static damage to connected peripherals. This function works alongside overcurrent protection to safeguard your connected devices from damage and data loss due to power surges.

The plug-and-play hub offers flexible power supply and mounting options. The U223-007-IND requires no software or drivers to download and install. It draws power from the connected computer via the included USB cable. You can also connect the included 3-wire terminal block to the hub to draw power from a power outlet, or connect a compatible 5V 3A DC power supply (not included) to a standard AC outlet. The hub can be easily mounted on a wall or DIN rail using the included mounting hardware.
