This brand new series from DZOFILM, in an all-metal body with a mix of black and space grey, is designed for medium to high budget productions. Consisting of 6 lenses from 28mm to 100mm, this lens series can also work well with full-frame cameras when combined with the DZOFILM Marlin Expanders. Tell visually impressive stories By combining the Super 35 format and a 2x squeez factor, the lenses in the Pavo series are true anamorphic lenses that are compatible with various cinema cameras and offer a seductive waterfall bokeh. The 2x squeez factor offers a wider field of view that shows more detail. Distinctive textures Thanks to the blue or neutral coating, Pavo lenses produce horizontal light reflections, creating mesmerising images without compromising brilliance. In addition to the outstanding classic barrel distortion of anamorphic lenses, the Pavo series is also characterised by minimal chromatic aberration even at large apertures and the reproduction of natural skin tones and vivid colours. Inspiration for more creativity The solid yet lightweight Pavo with a weight of 1.2 to 1.6 kg and a front diameter of only 95 mm breaks the stereotype of bulky anamorphic lenses, is easy to transport and ideally suited for drone and Steadicam recordings. The short focus distances over the entire focus path are shorter than is generally the case with anamorphic lenses.
