Dronefactory Flyduino Kiss Carrier Mini Power Distribution

The Mini Kiss Carrier Board enables a clean power supply setup for the copter. This 75x29 mm version is specifically aimed at FPV H-Quad race copters. It is designed for the KISS ESC to be mounted directly on the PCB (via angled 2.54 mm pin headers or cables). These are arranged in an elongated manner, making them suitable for common H-Quads. The signal lines are then conveniently brought together on a strip. The unit can be mounted using double-sided tape. The ESCs can also be secured before mounting on the carrier. To establish the power connection, we simply used standard angled 2.54 mm pin headers and made them thicker with solder; the thin part is very short in this case and does not cause any issues. Optionally, there is the possibility to install so-called Recoms (high-quality small switch-mode power supplies) on the PCB to provide, for example, 5 V for an OSD or a camera. Instead of a Recom, a small voltage filter can also be elegantly realized with an inductor (5 mm pitch). The installation of 1206 ceramic capacitors (which are non-polarized) is also optional.
