The camera array is stabilized via a 3-axis gimbal. An integrated spectral sunlight sensor on the drone detects solar irradiance, maximizing the accuracy and consistency of data collection at different times of day. Combined with post-processed data, this information helps provide the most accurate NDVI results. For agriculture professionals who want to know more, just having aerial imagery is not enough. Switch between a preliminary Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) analysis and the live RGB feed to instantly see where attention is needed so targeted treatment decisions can be made quickly. Dji's TimeSync system provides accurate, real-time position data for images captured by all six cameras, giving you centimeter-level measurements. The TimeSync system continuously aligns the flight controller, RGB and NB cameras, and RTK module, fixing the position data in the center of the CMOS and ensuring that each photo uses the most accurate metadata. All cameras go through a rigorous calibration process that measures radial and tangential lens distortions. The captured distortion parameters are stored in the metadata of each image, allowing post-processing software to make individual adjustments for each user.
