Product details

The DJI Air 3 is a compact foldable drone equipped with two powerful cameras - a wide-angle camera and a medium telephoto camera with 3x zoom. Enjoy optimized flights with a maximum flight time of 46 minutes, omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, and O4 video transmission. With dual-camera photos at 48 MP and 4K HDR video, you can capture stunning details in every scene. The Air 3 allows you to film your subjects with unlimited creativity, telling a visual story.

The two 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors of the Air 3 support two native ISO settings for direct output of 4K/60fps HDR video without cropping. This means that footage from both cameras features rich colors with natural lighting for breathtaking and highly accurate results. The medium telephoto camera with 3x zoom provides a unique sense of spatial compression when highlighting subjects. This updated tracking performance, combined with omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, enables you to intelligently and thoughtfully capture images whenever and wherever you need them.

The best drones for private use come from DJI. The market leader has the right aircraft for every budget in its range. They are all easy to control, have many functions on board and bring home impressive photos and videos. For an extra charge, the Mini 4 offers 4K resolution and better collision protection, while the Air 3 comes with a second telephoto camera.

The 720 gram, foldable drone is equipped with a multi-camera system: there is a 24 mm wide-angle camera and a 70 mm telephoto camera. However, at 1/1.3", the sensors are significantly smaller than those of the Mavic, and the drone does not support professional video formats. The drone has omnidirectional obstacle avoidance.

DJI has introduced a new drone for photographers and filmmakers. The DJI Air 3 has two cameras with wide-angle and medium telephoto lenses, but in contrast to similarly equipped premium models, the price is quite moderate: depending on the accessories, it starts at around 1,100 euros and ends at around 1,550 euros. CHIP was able to test the drone on sale and get a first impression.
