The DIGITUS Surge Protector is designed for industrial network applications and protects against surges of up to 10kV. It supports data transfers of up to 1000Mbps in Gigabit networks and the PoE standards PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ (IEEE802.3af/at/bt). This means not only are your conventional network devices protected from surges, but you can also use the DIN rail module for a variety of PoE applications (PoE, PoE+, PoE++), such as IP cameras or PoE switches. Installation is very straightforward by simply snapping onto a 35mm DIN rail, which can also serve as grounding for the surge protector.
