This electromagnetic 12V lock is controlled via two control wires (red: +, black: -). Activate the electromagnetic lock with 12V DC to unlock it. The locking bolt is pushed outward by a spring when no power is applied. When the coil is energized with 12V, the locking bolt retracts, allowing the door to be opened. For controlling the electromagnetic lock, we recommend using a relay with the 12V switches.
