This card reader with hot-plug functionality is bootable and can be installed either in a PCI slot at the back or in a 3½“ front bay of your PC using the included mounting frame. The device connects to the motherboard via the SATA interface and can read and write Compact Flash cards Type I / II as well as IBM Micro Drives.
