Tri-State Switching
The Tri-State switch consists of 9 individual switches, each having 3 switching positions (+, 0, -) per position. This allows for more coding options than a standard DIP switch with only 2 switching positions (On / Off).

THT Mounting Technique
The attached solder pins on the DIP switch are inserted into contact holes on the circuit board and soldered on the underside. The switching rows are used for setting configurations and adjusting parameters.
