The CyberPower PDU84005 supplies power to multiple connected devices in IT environments from an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a generator, or the public power grid. Two power cables can be connected to separate power sources to provide redundancy for connected devices with a single power supply. If the selected power source exceeds the desired thresholds or fails, the ATS PDU automatically switches to the other power source within 10 ms (detection time for power source failures: 2-3 ms, power source switching time: 2-7 ms) to ensure continuous operation. The device supports local and remote real-time monitoring, as well as the ability to turn individual outlets on and off for remote reboots, scheduled power cycling, and more.

The product is equipped with a hot-swappable Ethernet module that can work with the PowerPanel Power Management Software and the Power Management Web Interface for real-time remote monitoring and configuration. The digital LCD display is color-configurable, allowing users to easily maintain and monitor the ATS PDU. Users can change the colors of the LCD display to easily categorize devices in server rooms and IT environments. Additionally, the LED indicators of the outputs display different colors depending on the power supply status for easy identification. Event logging via a web browser or network connection allows users to review the history of power supply conditions. When specific power supply events occur, automatic event notifications are sent via email, SMS, or SNMP trap to designated users so they can take immediate action. The USB port also supports easy firmware updates.
