Crimson Tide In Deepest Danger

In a not-too-distant future, Russian rebels take over missile silos in Russia. The United States sends one of its nuclear submarines to respond to this nuclear threat. On the way, the submarine is attacked, damaging the communication system. As a result, during the battle, a message is only partially received. The conservative Captain Ramsey interprets the readable part of the message as an order to launch American missiles, while his first officer Hunter has doubts and wants to wait for a complete transmission.
