Product details

The TS-E 17mm f/4L ultra-wide tilt-and-shift lens offers a wide angle of view for cameras with both APS-C and full-frame sensors. Canon's innovative rotation system allows separate tilt and shift adjustment. Perspective and depth of field can be adjusted independently - making the lens particularly flexible. With a diagonal angle of view of 104°, a tilt angle of ±6.5°, a swing range of ±12 mm and a rotation angle of ±90° for tilt and swivel, the TS-E 17 mm f/4L is a highly versatile lens in its class. Practical locking devices ensure that the selected tilt and pan settings are not accidentally adjusted.

A large-diameter, high-precision aspherical pressed glass lens ensures high resolution right to the edge with minimised image distortion. Four UD lenses correct those chromatic aberrations that often occur when shooting with a wide-angle lens. These qualities make the lens ideal for architectural photography. Canon's patented lens coating, developed specifically for digital photography, minimises flare and aperture reflections due to internal reflections. The result is clear, crisp images. Canon L-series lenses stand the test of time in harsh environments. Dust and moisture seals provide extra protection. A lens cap and storage pouch are also included. Only environmentally friendly lead-free glass is used in the manufacture of the TS-E 17 mm 1:4L.

Insgesamt liefert das Shift eine gute Vorstellung an der 450D ab. Abgeblendet bleibt auch beim Shiften die volle Bildqualität erhalten, während offen die Bildränder mit und ohne Shift etwas schwächer ausfallen.
