Product details

A unique, manually focusable lens specifically designed for macro photography. The MP-E 65mm 1:2.8 1-5x is ideal for capturing very small objects that can be magnified up to a reproduction ratio of 5:1. Its optical design and the use of UD glass elements reduce chromatic aberrations that often occur at high magnification ratios. For flash photography, the Macro Ring Lite MR14-EX or the Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX can be attached.

The Super Spectra coating ensures excellent color balance and high contrast; additionally, it reduces lens flare and stray light by absorbing light that is reflected from the lenses and sensors inside a digital camera.

The lens transmits distance information to the camera's E-TTL II flash system, ensuring optimal flash exposure in every shooting situation.
