Product details
Be spontaneous: Respond instinctively to the moment and capture fast action with ease. Dual Pixel CMOS AF offers DSLR-like autofocus speed and tracking precision.
Focus on quality: The Dual Pixel CMOS AF reads the information of the right and left photodiode of each pixel separately. This data is used to perform phase detection autofocus, enabling both fast and precise focusing with the highest image quality. Additionally, the Dual Pixel CMOS AF is seamlessly active over 80% of the height and width of the sensor and, together with the Digic 7, ensures first-class sharpness tracking.
Capture every action: Continuous shooting at up to 7 frames per second in RAW and Servo AF captures every fast action. With constant focus, you can even achieve 9 frames per second.
Unique videos in cinema look: Impress with great videos in a cinema look. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF provides precise focus tracking and, when combined with the Touch AF and STM focusing technology of a lens, enables dramatic focus transitions.
Always calm recordings: Even if you use a lens without an optical image stabilizer, you can still shoot low-blur video thanks to the camera's internal 5-axis image stabilization. It gets even better when you use an EF-M or EF lens compatible with Dynamic IS.
Take over more manual control: Explore your creativity with fully manual control of aperture, shutter speed, and sound in Manual mode. The camera offers a connection for an external microphone, giving you even more options for sound recording.
Share immediately: Connecting to a mobile device is easy thanks to WLAN with NFC and Image Sync. It allows you to remotely control the recording and create backups in the cloud via Image Sync. Bluetooth allows you to maintain a constant connection between the camera and the mobile device and can easily activate the camera on your mobile device via the Camera Connect app.
