Product details

This robust 70-200mm telephoto zoom lens from the Canon L series is particularly popular among professional photographers. It delivers top-notch performance in strong ambient light and is optimized to excel even in the most challenging lighting conditions. With a maximum aperture of f/2.8, it allows for precise control over depth of field and, combined with the optical 3.5-stop image stabilizer, facilitates low-light shooting by compensating for camera shake. The imaging performance is excellent, and the remarkable sharpness from the center to the edges makes it an ideal choice for EOS cameras with the highest resolution.

The focal length range of 70-200mm is so versatile that this lens can be used in virtually any area of photography. Even in low light, outstanding handheld shots are possible. The high aperture of f/2.8 lets in twice as much light to the sensor compared to a f/4 lens, and the 3.5-stop image stabilizer compensates for unwanted camera shake.

The lens provides convincing imaging quality even with EOS cameras of the highest resolution. The high-quality precision optics ensure exceptional resolution, and improved coatings suppress stray light and lens flare. Thanks to the excellent control over depth of field, a subject can be sharply highlighted against an attractive background blur.

Fast-moving subjects can also be tracked precisely thanks to the ring-type USM autofocus system. Manual focus adjustment is always possible. The robust construction of the L series has been optimized for professional use. Special seals protect against dust and moisture ingress.

Die dritte Objektivgeneration ist teuer, aber auch extrem gut. Alternativ gibt es eine f/4-Version.
