Product details

B+W Black and White Filter

As the name suggests, B+W Black and White filters are primarily used in black and white photography.

Yellow filters, for example, can enhance the brilliance of landscape shots and better differentiate shades of green in plants. Yellow and orange filters transform fluffy clouds into dramatic cloudscapes, while red filters can intensify these effects to stormy levels or create moonlight effects during the day.

Key Features

  • Optimization of gray tones for expressive images
  • Available in yellow, orange, and red filters
  • Suitable for both analog and digital cameras
  • Made in Germany

Tip

With digital cameras that have a black and white mode, contrast enhancements can be achieved directly during shooting.

BASIC Red Dark 630 (091)

Compared to the previously described lighter B+W 090 Red Filter 590, the B+W 091 Red Filter 630 offers an even greater enhancement, as it darkens the yellow that is close to red in the spectrum, with its transparency only beginning in the orange-red range. It creates dramatic effects and extreme tonal separation for a graphic impact.

Coating: MRC.
