BOSS (Electronics) DS-1 Distortion

The Boss DS-1 distortion pedal offers authentic dynamics that faithfully reproduce your playing style, from powerful loud passages to subtle quiet moments. This orange-coloured stompbox has full control over the signal processing of your guitar with separate controls for level, distortion and tone. The Level knob adjusts the overall output volume, while the Distortion knob determines the intensity of the overdrive effect. The Tone control allows you to adjust the EQ directly on the pedal and thus precisely shape the tone. This robust stompbox was built with a focus on durability and is suitable for demanding stage and studio use. With a width of approx. 73 mm, a depth of 129 mm and a height of 59 mm and a weight of 360 g, the compact design fits easily on any pedalboard. The DS-1 is powered by a single 9V battery or an optional mains adapter, making it extremely versatile. As a pure guitar effects pedal, it processes electric guitar signals to create classic distortion sounds ranging from slight overdrive to aggressive saturation.
