This product is compliant with EN 61558 ENEC 10 and is UL-approved. It is a transformer designed for PCB mounting, featuring short-circuit protection. The primary voltage is 230V AC with a frequency range of 50 to 60Hz. It has one or two secondary windings for series or parallel connection. For conformity reasons, the secondary windings of 0.35 to 3.2 VA transformers with 2 x 15V and 2 x 18V outputs, as well as all transformers with 2 x 24V outputs, should not be connected in series to maintain VDE 0550 approval.

The series VB (0.35-3.2 VA) is inherently short-circuit proof, while the series PT (4th generation) is also short-circuit proof. The design is compact, featuring a vacuum epoxy resin molded part according to UL94-V0 class. It includes a two-piece coil made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, 100% electrical testing and breakdown testing, high efficiency, low heating, low capacitance between turns, and low noise. Extra mounting points are provided for safe PCB mounting in models from 4.5 VA.
